This exceptional antique cartel clock is notable for its fine decorative quality, featuring rich colouring and carefully modelled, dynamic figures.
The central circular ormolu dial within an ormolu border and set in an elaborately detailed porcelain case with various mythological figural depictions, including Neptune and Chronos, as well as seahorses, shells and putti, with underglaze blue crossed sword marks.
